Thando is a 21-year-old songstress born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She attends university in the UK at London South Bank University where she studies Accounting and Finance.

 

After beginning her career in the first quarter of 2020 and being nominated for a South African Music Award less than a year after the release of her debut EP titled ‘A Force To Be Reckoned With’, Thando returns with her sophomore EP called Alive Again.

This project explores Thando’s struggles with never feeling good enough, it touches on themes of catharsis and acceptance, and it takes you on a journey of self-discovery through solitude and unrequited love. Thando’s only hope is that when the world hears this project, they can fall in love with being alive again, just as she has.

The vocal and lyrical ability that Thando possesses in this project is second to none and the growth is evident. The world cannot wait to hear more.

Since the release of her sophomore project, Thando has been featured on the renowned 'Drum Magazine', the acclaimed 'Hype Magazine' and she has been placed in Apple Music and Spotify playlists as well.
